It took a little longer than I had anticipated...

Hi all!

First, thanks for attending my SCORE webinar - Funding Your Business Without a Loan - Alternate Ways to Fund Your Business.

We had an amazing turnout - more than 6,000 people signed up. Wow. Thank you!

Second, my apologies for taking so long to get this handout to you. I had some “technical difficulties” as they say, but anyway, we fixed them. Yeah!

This is the deck I successfully used to get funding and sponsorships from companies like Microsoft, Bank of America, SCORE, PayPal, LegalZoom, McAfee, Visa, and many others. Eventually, I sold that site, TheSelfEmployed, to Mark Cuban.

As you review this deck, pay special attention to how I created:

  • Interest and desire

  • Scarcity and urgency

  • Clear value for potential sponsors

Of course, you will want to tailor your pitch deck to fit your specific project, but I hope this gives you some useful ideas and a clearer path to funding your business!
